Hillary Clinton released a new campaign video on Friday featuring
young girls looking in the mirror, while Donald Trump's various insults
about the physical appearances of women play in the background.
"I'd look her right in that fat ugly face of hers" and "a person who
is flat-chested is very hard to be a 10" are just two of the quotes
captured in the ad, which ends with the question: "Is this the president
we want for our daughters?"
The powerful new video comes as more Republican women are refusing
to back the controversial nominee, while he continues to drive away
support from women and minority groups across the country because of his
record of making misogynistic and racist remarks.
In recent weeks, Trump's campaign has tried to improve his standing
with women, attempts that include the "Trump-Pence Women's Empowerment
Tour" and a late-in-the-game maternity leave plan that contradicts his past positions.
